- Doctor, considered more as an aesthetic being than a profession. A dying patient would need them the most, while a survivor could describe them with reverence. They surely are worthy to have a powerful stand in the society and be recognized about the same. Otherwise, it wouldn't be just fair enough to let their sweats go into drains, which were the result of following their dreams to realize it. So, if I were a doctor, then it would be my duty to ensure that every patient coming my way is treated with full justification. If I were a doctor, then I ought to make sure that the Hippocratic Oath was not just a culmination of powerful words arranged in a manner to make it sound terrific, but also that it had the innumerable amount of emotions bound with it. If I were a doctor, then, I would be responsible for making sure that an unbiased notion is carried out in and around the clinical surroundings. If I were a doctor I should always be interested in learning new entities while brushing up the old ones. If I were a doctor, I should make sure that there is always something I could do to make others life more peaceful and salubrious. Having its perils, this high earning profession is not a bit away from acquiring and assuming its most worthwhile obligation of treating the needy. So, may we can reconsider the criticism and only condemn once we had empathized.

- If I were a doctor, I will make sure to take extra care in my work as it is the matter of life and death. I will be sincere in my duties. I would give my patients proper medical care and advice. I shall do my best to cure the patients of their illness. I shall be ready to attend to all kinds of patients at any time. Sometimes, doctors refuse to see patients at night or refuse to travel far to a patient, I would never do such things. Many patients die nowadays due to doctor's negligence. If I were a doctor, I would make sure to take extra care in my work as it is the matter of life and death. I will not charge high fees from my patients as it is a noble profession. Being a doctor, I shall live a life of principles and noble ideas. I will never be cruel and heartless. I shall serve society in the best way possible. I like the profession of a doctor. Doctors can do something which others cannot do. A very job is very responsible. If I were a doctor, I would do my work very well. I do not have a strong desire for money. A good doctor must be sincere and honest and I would be one.

- ആതുര ചികിത്സാരംഗത്ത് ഈയൊരു കാലഘട്ടത്തിലും നാം നിരവധി വകഭേദങ്ങൾ നേരിടുന്നുണ്ട്." എല്ലാ പൗരന്മാർക്കും തുല്യ അവകാശം" എന്ന് എത്രയൊക്കെ വാദിച്ചാലും ഈയൊരു ആരോഗ്യരംഗത്ത് പോലും പലപ്പോഴും ആ തുല്യത നമുക്ക് പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാറില്ല. എല്ലാ പൗരന്മാരുടെയും അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി അവകാശമാണ് അടിയന്തര ചികിത്സ. എന്നാൽ ഇന്നത്തെ സമൂഹത്തിൽ അത് എത്രത്തോളം നടപ്പാക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരുപക്ഷേ ഇതൊക്കെ തന്നെയാവാം ഈയൊരു രംഗത്തെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ എന്നെ ആകർഷിച്ചത്. ഞാൻ ഡോക്ടർ ആയാൽ "കുറഞ്ഞചിലവിൽ മികവുറ്റ ചികിത്സ" എന്ന ഒരു ആശയം ആയിരിക്കും ആദ്യം മുന്നോട്ടു വയ്ക്കുക. ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ എന്ന നിലയിൽ എന്റെ മുന്നിൽ വരുന്ന ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയുടെയും ആരോഗ്യം ഞാൻ കാത്തു രക്ഷിക്കും. അർബുദം പോലെയുള്ള മാരക രോഗങ്ങളാൽ വ്യസന പെടുന്ന ധാരാളം വ്യക്തികൾ നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തിലുണ്ട്. പലപ്പോഴും ഇതുപോലുള്ള രോഗങ്ങൾ അതീവഗുരുതരമായി മാറുന്നത് യഥാസമയം കണ്ടു പിടിക്കപ്പെടാത്തതിനാലാണ്. കാരണം, ഈ പറയുന്ന പല രോഗങ്ങളും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാനുള്ള ടെസ്റ്റുകളുടെ ചിലവ് സാധാരണക്കാർക്ക് താങ്ങാവുന്നതിലും അധികമാണ്. ഈ ഒരു അവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റം വരുത്തുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി സാധാരണക്കാരുടെ രോഗനിർണയ സംവിധാനത്തിന് തുടക്കമിടും. ആധുനിക ചികിത്സാ രംഗത്ത് ഇനിയും ധാരാളം പുരോഗമനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതായിട്ടുണ്ട്. എല്ലാ തലത്തിൽ പെട്ട ആളുകൾക്കും ഒരേപോലെ സേവനങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നത് വരെയും ഈ പോരാട്ടം തുടർന്നുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും. ആ നേട്ടം നാം കൈവരിച്ചാൽ മാത്രമേ നമ്മൾ ഒരു വികസിത നാടിനെ പങ്കാളിയാവൂ. അതാവണം ഓരോ പൗരെൻറയും ലക്ഷ്യം.

- ഞാൻ ഡോക്ടറായാൽ എെൻറ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങൾ ഒാരോന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കി അത് നിറവേറ്റാൻ ശ്രമിക്കും.സ്നേഹവും ആത്മാർഥതയുമാണ് ഒരു ഡോക്ടറിന് ഏറ്റവും അത്യാവശ്യമായി വേണ്ടത്. ഒരിക്കലും പണത്തിനുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഒരു ജോലിയായി ഞാൻ ഇൗ പ്രഫഷനെ കാണില്ല. പാവപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക് ഫീസില്ലാതെ ചികിത്സിക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കും. ആശുപത്രികളില്ലാത്ത ഉൾഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ആശുപത്രികൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കും. ജാതിയോ മതമോ ദേശമോ ഒന്നും നോക്കാതെയാകും ഞാൻ രോഗികൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക. അവരുടെ അസുഖം ഭേദമാക്കുക എന്നതായിരിക്കും എെൻറ ലക്ഷ്യം.
